Friars Gate Archers Beginners Course 2007

Sixteen participants braved the elements to take part in this years’ beginners course during May & June. The weather failed to dampen spirits evidenced by the fact that nine of the participants took up full membership of FGA at the end of the course, the highest conversion rate ever.

In the end of course competition the honours went to Oliver Goward (Cub Junior), Edward Hoath (Junior Adult), Sarah Bradford and Simon Delmon.

The level of demand for the course was such that Penny, Brian, Mark and Andrew agreed to run a second course for those disappointed individuals who missed the first course.
