Friars Gate Archers Sussex Indoor Championships Sunday 15th March 2008

The indoor county championships were held this year at the impressive K2 Sports Centre in Crawley. Competitors could be nothing but impressed by the sight of over sixty targets in the splendid main sports hall.

Whilst Friars Gate competitors failed to achieve the level of success of 2008 all competitors enjoyed the day. Stevie Kent came a creditable 4th in the Portsmouth Junior compound competition, achieving 5th place in the Fita 18. In the Sussex team event we achieved 6th place. Anthony was 5th in the longbow competition, Brian was 6th in the Gents compound Portsmouth with Keith 11th in the Portsmouth competition.
